School project for Digital Recording Technology at New York University. I was the production director and mixing engineer in this project. I planned out the mics, setting them up, and figured out the desired recording quality for the recording sessions. I also mixed of the entire track.
2022
School project at University of Rochester. My group (48V Ribbons, consisted of Tony (Zitong Zheng), Max Flores, and me) recorded a huge live band in shcool studio, and they were doing a cover of Hold the Line by TOTO. This was the biggest studio session I so far did and it was so challenging, fun, and also meaningful to me.
We didn’t have specific jobs and we shared the duties and works for recording, mixing, and mastering very evenly as a group.
2021
My same group (48V Ribbons) recorded a local metal band in Rochester for our school project. We shared the jobs evenly for this one as well.
